What is an LRT? (Liquid Restaking Token)
A liquid restaking token represents a way to keep your investments liquid while engaging in the restaking process on EigenLayer. Typically, depositing capital into EigenLayer would make your funds illiquid. However, by depositing your LST into BPM Finance, you will receive an equivalent amount of LRT, ensuring your capital continues to be restaked on EigenLayer.
What is our first LRT token built on Eigenlayer: bpETH?
Our first Liquid Restaking Token bpETH provides liquidity for assets that have been deposited into EigenLayer. By converting staked ETH into it, users earn ETH/LST staking yield, EigenLayer points, and BPM Points while remaining liquid. The LRT can be minted using any of the supported assets. The LRT is a reward-bearing token. The underlying rewards accrued by restaking positions are reflected in the price of the LRT over time as it increases in value.
What are BPM Points?
BPM Points are a measure of your total EigenLayer restaking activity - your contribution to shared security. BPM Points will accrue based on the amount of LRT you hold per hour and are additional to the Eigenlayer restaked points.
How does Restaking with BPM Finance work?
1. Restakers stake LST to mint LRT tokens indicating fractional ownership of the underlying assets.
2. The LRT contracts distribute the deposited tokens into Node Operators
3. Rewards accrue from the various services to the LRT contracts. These rewards are reflects in the price of the LRT.
4. Restakers can swap their LRT for other tokens on AMMs for instant liquidity or redeem underlying assets through the LRT contracts. Restakers can further leverage their LRT tokens in the DeFi ecosystem
What are the key benefits of restaking with BPM Finance?
Triple layer of rewards: ETH/LST staking APY + AVS Rewards & Airdrops + BPM Points
Earn rewards while remaining liquid via our LRT
Save efforts in identifying the right services and validators - no need to run your own nod
Manage delegation and AVS's rewards that come in with restaking automatically
What are the fees?
BPM Finance does not impose any fees on LST deposits. Users can deposit ETH or LST without incurring charges.
- 90% of the staking rewards and points are passed onto holders.
- 10% of the rewards generated from AVSs and the Ethereum validators to BPM Finance's development fund and node operators.
The fee structure might be revised depending on Eigenlayer developments and market dynamics. The reward structure of Eigenlayer has not yet been announced.
Can I withdraw my assets?
Currently, you can withdraw any LRT as one of the supported LST. We are still working on the ETH withdrawal smart-contracts which should be available for our Mainnet launch. In the meantime, we aim to set-up liquidity pools on DeFi protocols like Uniswap or those wishing to convert LRT <> ETH.
Where can I learn more about BPM Finance?
Please visit our documentation on gitbook to learn more about us and about the current testnet dApp. Feel free to join the discussion and share your feedback on Discord!
Do I need to hold 32ETH in order to restake with BPM Finance?
No, you can restake as little or as much ETH as you want, or stake LSTs according to the maximum cap amount, set by BPM Finance.
Where does the APY/Yield provided by BPM Finance come from?
Currently staking yield comes from ETH validators. As AVSs go live on EigenLayer, BPM Finance Node operators will plug into them to generate restaking yield on top of the staking yield.
Who’s running the ETH Validators?
Will users earn Eigenlayer Restaked Points by restaking ETH?
Yes, BPM Finance passes 100% of all EigenLayer Restaked Points to users. Please not that the airdrop of Eigenlayer is already passed and that the point system might be subject to change.
Does BPM Finance charge fees on EigenLayer Restaked Points?
No, 100% of EigenLayer Restaked points will be distributed to BPM Finance's users. Please note, due to the technical nature of native ETH staking, EigenLayer points only start accumulating after approximately the first 24 hours after the user receives LRT.
