BPM Finance's LRTs
Introduction to our Liquid Restaked Tokens and how it works.
Our first LRT built on Eigenlayer: bpETH
A Liquid Restaking Token is a token representing assets that have been restaked on Eigenlayer to secure AVS. A Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) represents a way to keep your investments liquid while restaking on Eigenlayer to earn rewards.
Our first Liquid Restaking Token provides liquidity for assets that have been deposited into EigenLayer. By converting staked ETH into our dedicated LRT, users earn ETH/LST staking yield, EigenLayer points, and BPM Points while remaining liquid - meaning they can put their LRT to work in other DeFi opportunities like AMM liquidity pools, borrowing and lending, staking, etc.
bpETH can be minted using any of supported assets (e.g. stETH)
Users deposit native ETH or LSTs (Liquid Staking Tokens) and receive bpETH.
The bpETH received is a reward-bearing token that works similarly to cTokens. The underlying rewards accrued by restaking positions are reflected in the price of the bpETH over time as it increases in value.
